Services

Tower performs physical site inspections for the purpose of completing physical inventory’s of the stocks and goods located in the subject businesses warehouse(s).  Tower tracks periodic changes in the quantity and quality of the subject inventory goods in order to attempt to spot changes in inventory status which may represent changes to Lender’s secured position. Based on the results of the survey,  Tower works with the Lender and borrower to refine the scope and format of the weekly Borrowing Base Certificate used by customer to report to Lender.

 

Services Include:

          • Pre-funding on-site inventory survey and counts.
           
          • On-going weekly inventory status including variance data and management reports which are customized to analyze and track any and all changes to the quantity of inventory as well as the design and make-up of the inventory.
           
          • Weekly Portfolio reports and status calls to provide portfolio managers with detailed changes and trends within inventory collateral.
           
          • Agents appointed at borrowers business to assist in production of weekly data and information.
           
          • Reports including review of business and company operations to provide Lender with a feel of who within company performs integral operating services including processes and controls.
           
          • Documented facility information as to ingress and egress to warehouse as well as review and reporting of any and all security issues.
           
          • Reports on existing or potential key staff issues/concerns.

 

Ongoing Inventory Monitoring Management:

Customers provide periodic reporting to Tower who will analyze various data and report to the Lender on a weekly bases the current quantity and quality status of the inventory collateral. Tower performs either full or partial physical count for Inventory of goods located and stored at Company warehouse(s) and prepares a variance report comparing Enterprise inventory report to the actual physical counts.

Tower reports on existing or potential key staff issues/concerns. Additionally, Tower provides for the establishment, organization, and implementation of processes and controls including conclusions and solutions.

 

Pre Funding On Site Inventory Surveys:

Tower Collateral performs pre-funding inventory on site field examinations on behalf of the Lenders.  We deliver to our Lenders  a complete or partial physical inventory count, as well as  a complete understanding of the operations, staff and business flow of the subject business.  If an error or discrepancy is detected, our investigation will report these errors. Based on the weekly reporting structure between Tower and the company, Tower is in the position of being able to quickly ascertain  issues  which enables the Lender to gain control of its collateral and determine the best method of disposition of the inventory collateral.

During our field examinations, Tower identifies key operational employees and designates them as” Agents of Tower”. Going forward, it is these agents who provide Tower with ongoing data and intelligence on the subject businesses.

 

Pre Funding On Site Purchase Orders Due Diligence and Surveys:

Tower Provides reports including a review of the business and company operations to provide the Lender with a feel of who within the company performs integral operating services including processes and controls.

Tower provides documented facility information as to ingress and egress to warehouse as well as review and reporting of any and all security issues.  Tower provides reports on existing or potential key staff issues and/or concerns.

Tower conducts interviews with executives, senior and operational team members of the staff to ascertain a thorough understanding of operational flow within the business. Tower provides a review and analysis of inventory locator systems.

Tower determines which employees have physical access to subject inventories and stocks and incorporate this information into processes and procedures for maximum inventory control.  A survey of the physical plant(s) as well as security systems for ingress and egress to the facilities and storage warehouse are prepared for Lender.

Tower conducts a review of the Inventory locator and control system, understanding the business operations, as well as, sales and fulfillment procedures.

Tower meets with Operational and lower level staff to determine which staff have access and control to various company functions.  Tower provides reports on existing or potential key staff issues or concerns and facility photos.  Tower provides the establishment, organization, and implementation of processes and controls including conclusions and solutions.

 

Inventory Disposition & Business Wind Down:

There are times when a business is unable to recover from a myriad of market, economic and resource challenges. During these times, it becomes critical for the Lender to establish and implement an action plan that jointly provides for the protection of the clients’ interests while maximizing recoveries for all parties involved.

Tower has managed numerous liquidations – both inside bankruptcy protection as well as outside of a court oversight process. Tower's goal is to recover the maximum value from the inventory collateral to ultimately cover outstanding financial obligations to the Lender.

Tower will determine the best course of disposition and will implement a clearly defined and orderly process to convert inventories into cash for financial recovery to the Lender. Throughout the liquidation process, Tower is committed to provide effective communication to all parties.

Tower also performs Orderly Liquidation Management Services for inventories, acting as an agent for the Lenders.

 

Procedures and Systems: 

  • Prepare the inventory for sale.
  • Ascertain the most desired marked for the inventory.
  • Coordinate all marketing including advertising and auctions.
  • Systematically place a team in place on site to handle the liquidation process while enabling the company to maintain full operations.
  • Establish payment systems and procedures.
